Morellino di Scansano Golf Trophy Boosts Wine‑Tourism Link in Courmayeur

The Consorzio Tutela Morellino di Scansano organized the second edition of the Trofeo Morellino di Scansano on Saturday, 1 August, at the Golf Club Courmayeur et Grandes Jorasses. The tournament pairs a golf competition with a wine‑tasting showcase, offering winners bottles, magnums and vouchers for cellar visits from participating producers such as Bruni, Castello di Montepò, Fattoria dei Barbi and others.

Alessio Durazzi, director of the Consorzio, said the event aims to cement a stable presence in Courmayeur and to use wine as a bridge between the Maremma region of Tuscany and the Alpine locality, promoting shared values of authenticity, quality and hospitality. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to create ongoing opportunities for interaction among golf club members, local operators and fans of the Morellino di Scansano denomination.
