Morelos authorities destroy narcotics and military-style toys

Authorities in Morelos conducted a large-scale destruction of narcotics and military-style toys in Cuernavaca. The operation, led by Governor Margarita González Saravia at the 24/a Military Zone, involved coordination between the State Attorney General's Office, the Federal Attorney General's Office, the Mexican Army, and the National Guard.

Officials reported the destruction of over 266 kilograms of illegal substances, including marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine. Additionally, 1,045 military-style toys were destroyed as part of a program titled ‘Exchange of War Toys for Educational Toys,’ which operated across several municipalities including Amacuzac, Ayala, and Cuernavaca.

Governor González Saravia emphasized that building peace requires intelligence, investigation, and addressing the root causes of violence through firm actions against those threatening community security.
