Morelos government rejects political rhetoric in security strategy

The Government of Morelos has emphasized that public safety cannot be achieved through political rhetoric or opportunistic speeches. Edgar Maldonado Ceballos, the Secretary of Government, stated during the signing of the Pact for Prosperity, Economic Justice, and Security that peace requires daily actions, institutional coordination, and the responsibility of public servants.

Maldonado Ceballos highlighted that the administration led by Governor Margarita González Saravia is working continuously to strengthen security through the State Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace and Security. This strategy involves territorial operations, with a priority focus on the municipality of Cuautla, to contain criminal activity and protect vulnerable regions.

The state's security policy is built on four strategic pillars coordinated with the federal government: institutional coordination across all levels of government, the continuous strengthening and dignifying of state police forces, investment, and territorial presence. The Secretary also called on the business sector to collaborate with the Executive Power to implement comprehensive security strategies.
