Morelos officials promote science and innovation at STS Forum in Japan
Representatives from the Government of Morelos are participating in the STS Forum 2026 in Kyoto, Japan, from October 4 to 6. The delegation aims to strengthen international ties in science, technology, and innovation to foster economic development and competitiveness within the state.
The Morelos delegation includes Jaime Eugenio Arau Roffiel, Director General of the Council of Science and Technology of the State of Morelos (CCyTEM); Javier Dávila Torres, Director General of Planning and Evaluation; Emiliano Alfaro Gómez from the Secretariat of Economy; and Vidal Llerenas Morales, Director General of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI).
As part of this international agenda, officials are promoting the upcoming STS LATAM and InnovaFest Morelos 2026, scheduled for December 10 at the Morelos Convention Center. These events are designed to connect innovative projects with strategic allies, industry, and investors, positioning Morelos as a technological and industrial hub.
