Morelos strengthens its four Pueblos Mágicos destinations
The Morelos Secretary of Tourism is implementing a strengthening plan for the state’s four ‘Pueblos Mágicos’: Tepoztlán, Tlayacapan, Xochitepec, and Tlaltizapán. The initiative aims to preserve their official designation, improve destination management, and enhance conditions for service providers, visitors, and local communities.
Through the General Directorate of Community Tourism, the state is providing technical assistance, working groups, and documentary reviews to align with federal criteria. Tourism Secretary Daniel Altafi Valladares noted that these destinations serve as a strategic platform to diversify the state's tourism offerings and drive economic development through historical, cultural, artisanal, gastronomic, and natural heritage.
