Morelos violence leaves one dead and five injured in multiple attacks

A series of armed attacks across four municipalities in Morelos resulted in one death and five injuries.

The most significant incident occurred in the Jardín Juárez neighborhood of Jiutepec, where gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on spectators at soccer fields, seriously wounding three civilians.

In Yautepec, a public transport driver survived an ambush by two individuals on motorcycles. In Tlaltizapán, workers discovered the body of an unidentified man showing signs of torture and multiple gunshot wounds in a field. Additionally, a man was shot and wounded in Temixco near the Campo Sotelo neighborhood.

The State Attorney General's Office and forensic services have opened investigations into these incidents, though no arrests have been reported.
