Américo Villarreal Anaya calls for civility in Morena's municipal registration process
Tamaulipas Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya has called for political civility among candidates participating in Morena’s internal processes for municipal and federal district coordinations. Following the conclusion of candidate registrations, the governor emphasized that participants must adhere to the official call for candidates and avoid using disqualification or personal attacks as a means of gaining social perception.
Villarreal Anaya stated that candidates should build their reputation through their professional history, life experiences, and record of public service rather than through negative campaigning. He noted that the registration period for federal deputies and municipal presidencies has concluded, and the focus should now shift to the quality of proposals offered to the citizenry.
In addition to discussing the electoral process, the governor mentioned recent meetings with President Claudia Sheinbaum regarding national housing programs. He noted that Tamaulipas is among the top four states in the program, with 84,000 housing units allocated through Infonavit and Conavi.
