Morena politicians announce reelection bids and economic plans in Yucatán

In Yucatán, Morena federal deputy Jorge Sánchez Reyes announced his intention to seek reelection for the 2nd Federal District, which includes Progreso. During his announcement in Dzununcán, Sánchez emphasized his history as a founder of the movement in the region and highlighted the current administration's focus on redistributing public resources and protecting democratic freedoms.

Separately, in Cancún, Morena state legislator Jorge Sanén Cervantes delivered his second legislative report. Sanén called for political unity to support Governor Mara Lezama's development projects. He proposed an economic model for Cancún designed to provide certainty to the business sector, promote circular economy principles, and ensure labor dignity while translating tourism success into shared prosperity.
