Moreno and Luján announce cultural activities for long weekend
The municipalities of Moreno and Luján have announced various cultural and recreational activities for the upcoming long weekend.
In Moreno, the local government is hosting several free events, including the play ‘Fue en Abril’ at the Leopoldo Marechal Municipal Theater, which honors Malvinas hero Alejandro Cuevas. Other scheduled events include the ‘Canción Urgente: Moreno x Cuba’ solidarity concert, the ‘Encuentro y Trinchera II’ collective art exhibition at the Manuel Belgrano Municipal Museum of Fine Arts, and celebrations at the Casa de las Culturas de Catonas. Additionally, the Malvinas and South Atlantic Islands Museum and a local artisans' fair will be open to the public.
In Luján, the Municipal Museum of Fine Arts Fernán Félix de Amador will inaugurate three simultaneous exhibitions on Friday, August 14. These include ‘Ensayo Abierto’ at the ARTE[FACTO] Gallery, ‘Alquimia’ featuring works by Gladys Abitante and Osvaldo Krasmanski, and ‘Vestigios de la presencia’ by Juan Burgos. Most activities are free of charge.
