Argentina authorities investigate two separate fatal stabbings

In Moreno, Argentina, authorities have detained a woman and her daughter following the death of Alberto Federico Araoz Arocena. The 41-year-old man was found with over 20 stab wounds to his neck and chest, and his head was covered with a nylon bag. The suspects, Edith Elizabeth Castellano and Florencia Anabella Araoz, have been charged with aggravated homicide. Investigators noted that both women exhibited physical bruising and signs of trauma at the scene.

In a separate incident in Apolinario Saravia, Argentina, a 38-year-old Bolivian farm worker died from stab wounds to the abdomen and forehead following a dispute. A suspect was apprehended after being located walking near Ruta Vieja, and weapons were seized. An autopsy confirmed the cause of death as a penetrating injury to the right atrium, leading to cardiogenic and hypovolemic shock.
