Moreno authorities demolish drug trafficking bunker

Authorities in Moreno, Argentina, have demolished a property used as a drug trafficking bunker located between the Yaraví and Jardines II neighborhoods. The operation was a coordinated effort involving the Municipality of Moreno, the Buenos Aires Provincial Ministry of Security, and the 12th Prosecutor's Office.

The building had been the target of six separate raids between 2025 and 2026. These previous interventions resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of significant quantities of drugs and equipment used for packaging substances.

Mayor Mariel Fernández stated that the demolition is part of a comprehensive security policy aimed at eradicating drug sales points to reduce local conflict and restore peace to the community. The initiative seeks to prevent criminal organizations from reoccupying the space.
