Moreno Mayor Mariel Fernández Holds Massive Rally for Buenos Aires Governor Race

Moreno mayor Mariel Fernández staged a large gathering in Buenos Aires City, filling the historic ND Teatro Ateneo beyond capacity. Hundreds of promoters from more than 30 municipalities across Buenos Aires Province attended, pledging support for her bid to become governor.

Fernández emphasized a platform of social welfare, mental‑health care, education, industrial development and natural‑resource protection. She voiced solidarity with President Cristina Kirchner and highlighted the need for a provincial government that safeguards resources and creates jobs.

The event demonstrated a growing grassroots network, with volunteers committing to tour neighborhoods throughout the province, underscoring the scale of her campaign organization.
