Morgan Stanley launches Ether and Solana ETPs on NYSE Arca
Morgan Stanley introduced two exchange‑traded products (ETPs) that provide direct exposure to the cryptocurrencies Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL). The products, listed under the tickers MSSE and MSOL, began trading on the NYSE Arca exchange on July 28.
Both ETPs hold the underlying digital assets in custody, stake a portion of the holdings and pass roughly 95 % of the staking rewards back to investors. The funds charge an expense ratio of 0.14 %, making them among the lowest‑cost options in the crypto‑ETP space. Validation services are provided by Figment, and the products track CoinDesk benchmark indices for ETH and SOL.
The offerings target investors who want to capture the price movement and staking income of the assets without managing personal wallets or directly handling the tokens.
