Morgan Wallen concert in Michigan draws 75,000 fans as a fan's phone strikes the singer

Country star Morgan Wallen performed two nights at Michigan Stadium, known as The Big House, as part of his “I’m Still The Problem” tour. Approximately 75,000 fans attended the Friday show, joining a long‑standing Michigan tradition of singing The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside” during the third quarter of football games.

During the Saturday concert, a fan threw a cell phone that hit Wallen on the shin. Wallen stopped his set, pointed the fan out to security, and later stared at the individual before returning to the stage. The incident follows several previous moments on the tour where audience members have tossed phones at the performer, prompting concerns about safety and possible changes to stage layout.

Wallen also acknowledged his Tennessee roots while expressing appreciation for the venue, briefly wearing a former Michigan basketball jersey and greeting former football star Aidan Hutchinson onstage.
