Morgan’s Ice Cream, a family-owned shop in Fort Worth’s Near Southside, has announced it will close after six years of operation. Owners Jeff and Stephanie Brannon shared the news via social media, stating they are following a new path, though they did not specify what that entails.

The shop, which rebranded from Gypsy Scoops in 2020, focused on small-batch, homemade-style ice cream with distinctive flavors. While the physical location is closing, the owners indicated they may transition to a preorder-only model for pints and larger tubs through their website.
