Moria Casán Biopic Premieres on Netflix in August

Netflix has released the first trailer for "Moria," a biographical series that chronicles the life of Argentine entertainment icon Moria Casán. The series, produced by About Entertainment and directed by Javier Van de Couteres, will debut worldwide on August 14.

Three actresses portray Casán at different stages: her daughter Sofía Gala Castiglione plays the youthful Moria, Griselda Siciliani depicts her peak television years, and Cecilia Roth embodies the mature diva. The show promises to cover her early theatre work in the 1970s, high‑profile relationships, televised talk‑show battles, and even her imprisonment in Paraguay, featuring figures such as Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel. Moria Casán herself participated in shaping the script to preserve her distinctive persona.
