Moria Casán biopic series debuts on Netflix

A new Netflix series dramatizes the life of Argentine television icon Moria Casán. The biopic, produced by About Entertainment and written and directed by Javier Van de Couter, follows Casán’s career across three eras and will premiere worldwide on 14 August, coinciding with her 80th birthday.

Sofía Gala Castiglione, Griselda Siciliani and Cecilia Roth portray Casán at different stages, while Leticia Brédice appears as Susana Giménez in the 1990s (Micaela Riera plays the 1980s version). The cast also includes Marco Antonio Caponi, María Fernanda Callejón and other Argentine actors. Brédice celebrated the role on Instagram, writing, “Un honor. Un sueño. Mágico, milagroso…”. The series will be available in more than 100 countries on Netflix.
