Moritz Seider and Tim Stützle launch German-language hockey podcast

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Moritz Seider and Ottawa Senators center Tim Stützle have announced the launch of a new hockey podcast titled ‘Seider & Stützle’. The podcast will be hosted in German, specifically targeting German-speaking hockey fans.

As prominent German stars in the NHL, the two longtime friends and teammates on the German national team intend to discuss topics including the NHL, the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), and the upcoming 2027 IIHF World Championship, which is scheduled to be held in Dusseldorf, Gelsenkirchen, and Mannheim.

The announcement comes as the 2026/2027 NHL season begins. The podcast follows a trend of active NHL players engaging in media ventures, though previous player-led podcasts have occasionally faced internal team tensions.
