Moritz Treffinger Claims Freestyle Victory at Neustädter Pferdesommer

German rider Moritz Treffinger rode his 14‑year‑old Oldenburg stallion Morricone to win the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Neustädter Pferdesommer, scoring 75.265 %. The triumph marked his debut Big Tour freestyle win and his second Big Tour victory in three months after moving up from the under‑25 division. Fellow German Jennifer Buda finished second on Daily Fun with 73.565 %. Earlier in the same competition Treffinger placed second in the Grand Prix behind American rider Adrienne Lyle, whose horse Helix is part of the U.S. Olympic team for Paris. Treffinger’s freestyle was set to the music of the Backstreet Boys.
