Morning dietary habits linked to reduced longevity in men
Medical research indicates that certain morning habits can significantly impact men's longevity and increase the risk of chronic diseases. A 16-year study involving over 26,000 men, published in the journal Circulation by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, found that diets causing unstable blood sugar fluctuations are linked to a higher risk of coronary artery disease.
Additionally, research from Tel Aviv University suggests that consuming high amounts of sugar and refined carbohydrates during breakfast can increase insulin resistance, promote visceral fat accumulation, and accelerate the risk of type 2 diabetes in men. Experts recommend replacing refined starches and sugars with complex carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and vitamins to maintain stable energy levels.
