Three Mornington Peninsula businesses have received national and state awards for excellence in food and wine production.

Southern Seagreens was named Sustainability Trailblazer at the 2026 Melbourne Food and Wine Legends Awards. The company is recognized for its work in the emerging commercial kelp farming industry, cultivating native giant kelp at its Dromana nursery for offshore farming and harvesting wild wakame.

Flinders Mussels received the From the Sea award at the 2026 Delicious Harvey Norman Produce Awards for its premium blue mussels grown in the Flinders region.

Additionally, Elanto Vineyard in Balnarring was named Best New Winery at the 2026 Halliday Wine Companion Awards. The boutique winery, founded by Sandro Mosele, was recognized for its high-density vineyard practices and organic approach to producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
