Moroccan educational directorates prepare for 2026–2027 school year

Provincial directorates of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports in Khenifra and Mohammedia are conducting coordination meetings to prepare for the 2026–2027 school year.

In Khenifra, officials met to finalize measures for a successful start, focusing on the implementation of the educational reform roadmap. Key priorities include ensuring schools are equipped with essential utilities such as water, electricity, and internet, as well as managing social support programs like school feeding. The meeting also addressed human resources and the expansion of preschool and ‘Pioneer Schools’ programs.

In Mohammedia, the provincial directorate held discussions with social partners and trade unions to ensure a stable start to the academic year. The talks centered on infrastructure, school mapping, and human resources, aiming to address the concerns of both educational staff and families while fostering constructive dialogue to improve the public school system.
