Jabaroot hackers leak identities of 70,000 Moroccan intelligence agents
The hacking group Jabaroot has released a massive data leak containing the identities of 70,381 agents working for Moroccan intelligence and security services, specifically targeting the DGST and DGSN. The leaked information includes names, ranks, dates of birth, and identification numbers. Among the compromised data are the details of 21 high-ranking officials, including Abdellatif Hammouchi, the director of both agencies.
In addition to the intelligence leak, the group has claimed to have infiltrated the mobile phone of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez using Pegasus spy software. This follows previous breaches by the group, which reportedly included data on 3,400 royal palace employees and two million social security affiliates.
Moroccan authorities have accused the hackers of being funded by Algeria. The group has also threatened to release further information regarding security operations in Ceuta.
