Moroccan Retirement Fund simplifies pension procedures through digitalization

The Moroccan Retirement Fund (CMR) has announced new measures to simplify the management of retirement and survivor pension files. These changes follow government circular no. 8/2026, which aims to streamline administrative procedures and accelerate the digitalization of public services.

The new measures focus on reducing the number of required documents by better utilizing existing data held by various government agencies and enhancing electronic information exchange. This initiative is intended to reduce the need for retirees and their beneficiaries to travel, speed up file processing times, and improve overall service quality.

Developed in coordination with the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, these steps are part of the CMR’s 2025-2027 strategic action plan. The plan emphasizes digital transformation, operational efficiency, and improving the user experience through the dematerialization of administrative processes.
