Moroccan runners win African Duathlon Cup in Tangier

Moroccan runners Mohamed El Nemsi and Ghizlane Assou secured titles at the African Duathlon Cup held in Tangier. The competition, part of the third edition of ‘DUATHLON TRIUMPHER’S’, took place at the Sidi Kacem corniche in the Ikznaya commune.

In the men's race, Mohamed El Nemsi finished with a time of 1 hour, 47 minutes, and 26 seconds, followed by fellow Moroccans Osama Nabil and Omar Othman Komghar. In the women's category, Ghizlane Assou took first place with a time of 2 hours, 23 minutes, and 16 seconds, ahead of Islam Bakhti and Aya Bakhti.

The event was organized by the Nacer Tangier Association under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Triathlon Federation. It featured professional athletes from Morocco as well as international participants from Bahrain, the United States, Spain, and Afghanistan.
