Moroccan Tax Authority Sets July 31 2026 Deadline for Tax Declarations

The General Directorate of Taxes in Morocco reminded all liable taxpayers that the final deadline for filing tax returns and making payments is 31 July 2026. The notice applies to several groups, including entities with annual turnover over two million dirhams, corporate and individual taxpayers under the real net‑result or simplified net‑result regimes, self‑employed persons who chose quarterly or monthly filing, and VAT‑registered businesses.

Taxpayers must submit their declarations electronically through the SIMPL‑Délais de paiement portal (www.tax.gov.ma). Invoices not settled by the legal deadline must be flagged by an auditor, a certified accountant, or an accounting expert, depending on whether annual turnover is above or below fifty million dirhams. Additionally, entities subject to withholding tax on bonuses must remit the withheld tax for June 2026 via the SIMPLIS or SIMPLIR electronic services.
