Moroccan Union of Labor wins IndustriALL regional women's committee chair

Noura El Mostahi, representing the Moroccan Union of Labor (Union Marocaine du Travail), has been elected as the Chair of the Middle East and North Africa Regional Women's Committee for IndustriALL Global Union. The election took place during a committee meeting held in Geneva, Switzerland.

IndustriALL is a major international trade union federation representing over 50 million workers across 140 countries in sectors such as energy, mining, and manufacturing. El Mostahi, who serves as the Deputy Secretary General of the Renault Tangier workers' union and is a member of the Moroccan Union of Labor's national office, will lead efforts to enhance women's presence in union leadership and advocate for the rights of female workers within the industrial sectors covered by the federation.
