Moroccanoil ends six-year Eurovision Song Contest sponsorship
Moroccanoil, the Israeli cosmetics company, has decided not to renew its sponsorship of the Eurovision Song Contest after six years. The partnership, which began when the contest was held in Tel Aviv in 2019, included cross-branding on social media and official multimedia channels, as well as branding for the Turquoise Carpet and the Opening Ceremony.
During its tenure, Moroccanoil served as a prominent sponsor and provided hair styling services for artists backstage. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) confirmed the decision, stating, “We can confirm that, after six successful years, Moroccanoil has chosen not to renew its sponsorship of the Eurovision Song Contest. . . . We wish Moroccanoil every success for the future.”
