Morocco advances AI and demographic data tracking, UNFPA reports

In its 2025 ‘Orange Book of Results’, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) highlighted several developmental advancements in Morocco. Key achievements include the implementation of the ‘Prosocial AI’ initiative, which focuses on using artificial intelligence to support human autonomy in education, professional environments, and daily life through a hybrid approach of human and algorithmic capabilities.

Additionally, a dynamic demographic and social indicator dashboard was developed in Tangier. This tool is designed to improve data visualization and support territorial governance by making demographic information more accessible for monitoring regional dynamics.
