Morocco and Egypt showcase tourism at IFTM Top Resa in Paris

Morocco and Egypt have showcased their tourism sectors at the IFTM Top Resa 2026 exhibition in Paris. The event, held from September 15 to 17, serves as a major professional hub for the global travel and hospitality industry.

Morocco opened its pavilion with the presence of high-level officials, including advisor André Azoulay and Ambassador Samira Sitaïl. The Moroccan pavilion features 38 exhibitors, including Royal Air Maroc and various regional tourism boards. The showcase highlights the diversity of Moroccan destinations, specifically focusing on the cultural heritage of Essaouira and the watersports and business tourism potential of Dakhla. Additionally, the Moroccan National Tourist Office released a new art book titled ‘Essaouira, Land of Encounters’ to celebrate the city’s history.

Egypt’s pavilion was visited by French Minister Serge Pauban, who met with Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy. The Egyptian display features replicas of treasures from King Tutankhamun and artifacts from the Grand Egyptian Museum. Minister Pauban expressed interest in increasing bilateral cooperation between France and Egypt and was presented with a replica of Tutankhamun’s mask as an invitation to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum.
