Morocco and Yemen host cultural seminar in Rabat

The Yemeni Embassy in Morocco, in collaboration with the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences at Mohammed V University in Rabat, organized a Yemeni-Moroccan Cultural Day. The event focused on the historical, cultural, and civilizational ties shared by the two nations.

During the seminar, Yemeni Ambassador Ezzedine Saeed Al-Asbahi highlighted the depth of diplomatic and historical relations, noting that shared heritage in language, religion, and social values helps strengthen bilateral cooperation despite the geographic distance. He emphasized that mutual migrations and shared traditions in arts, architecture, and literature serve as a foundation for continued engagement.

Omar Hanish, Dean of the Faculty, noted that the shared heritage offers promising prospects for academic and cultural cooperation. He stated that these deep human and cultural dimensions help transcend formal diplomatic interests and work toward dispelling stereotypes through mutual knowledge.
