Morocco automotive market sees GAC launch and Stellantis financing expansion

The Moroccan automotive sector is seeing significant developments through new brand launches and specialized financial services. M-AUTOMOTIV, the exclusive importer and distributor for GAC in Morocco, has officially launched the GAC brand in the national market. The rollout includes a diverse range of vehicles, with an existing network in Casablanca and Tangier, and planned expansions into Rabat, El Jadida, and Agadir. Through this partnership, M-AUTOMOTIV will also deploy the AION and HYPTEC brands to cover electric and high-tech mobility.

In a separate development, Stellantis Salaf has officially begun operating as the automotive captive financial provider for Stellantis in Morocco as of July 1, 2026. This follows the acquisition of AXA Crédit by FIDIS. The new entity aims to integrate financing directly into the vehicle purchasing process, supporting the group's distribution network and facilitating customer access to Stellantis brands through tailored financial solutions.
