King Mohammed VI of Morocco has expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia following repeated attacks by Houthi militias. In two telegrams addressed to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Moroccan monarch emphasized the deep religious, historical, and strategic ties between the two nations.

The King expressed profound concern regarding Houthi strikes on civilian, economic, and vital infrastructure, as well as residential areas. He specifically condemned attempts to target the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, describing such actions as an assault on the sentiments of over 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide.

Morocco holds the Houthi militias and their financial and military backers responsible for these actions under international law. King Mohammed VI asserted that the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council are inseparable from Morocco's own security, stating that “any attack on Saudi Arabia is an attack on Morocco.”
