Morocco hosts diverse autumn cultural and luxury events
Morocco is hosting a diverse array of cultural, gastronomic, and artistic events throughout the autumn season.
In the hospitality sector, Royal Mansour Marrakech has been named the best hotel in Africa and ranked 26th in The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2026. The Royal Mansour Casablanca is hosting high-profile culinary events, including a collaborative dinner on October 3 between chefs Éric Frechon and Christian Le Squer, and an ‘Indian Summer Glamour’ rooftop event on October 9. Similarly, La Mamounia in Marrakech is preparing a series of ephemeral dinners in October featuring Michelin-starred chefs Emmanuel Renaut and Olivier Nasti, alongside pastry chef Pierre Hermé.
Cultural programming is also extensive. The 6th Marrakech Photography Encounters (RPM) will take place from October 7 to 10, celebrating two centuries of photography with a focus on Chinese-Moroccan exchanges. In the Medina of Marrakech, the Maison de la Photographie is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Maroc, Regards d’hier et d’aujourd’hui’ until October 31. Other notable events include the MOGA Festival in Essaouira and the Mediterranean Film Festival in Tétouan. In cinema, the film ‘Zawaj Center’ recently premiered in Casablanca, offering a comedic look at Moroccan social traditions.
