Morocco hosts 157th Diplomatic Crossroads to discuss economic partnerships

The 157th session of the Diplomatic Crossroads was held in Rabat, featuring Moroccan Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah. The event brought together ambassadors and representatives from over 60 countries and international organizations to discuss the theme: ‘Moroccan economy and international partnerships: what new levers for investment and inclusive and sustainable development?’

Abdelati Habek, president of the Diplomatic Foundation, highlighted Morocco’s emergence as a regional economic and investment hub. He attributed this success to the country’s strategic geographic location, infrastructure, free trade agreements, and political stability. Habek noted the Moroccan economy's resilience against global economic fluctuations, geopolitical crises, and climate challenges.

Minister Nadia Fettah outlined various reforms aimed at enhancing national economic attractiveness. Key initiatives include the implementation of the new investment charter, improving the business climate, encouraging private investment, and fostering public-private partnerships. The discussions emphasized directing investment toward high-value-added sectors and future-oriented industries to ensure sustainable growth.
