Morocco hosts industrial exhibitions to boost regional cooperation and food sovereignty

Morocco is hosting major industrial exhibitions focused on technological advancement and regional cooperation. The 14th edition of SISTEP IMME, held at the Casablanca International Exhibition Center, emphasizes strengthening industrial ties between Morocco and Mauritania. The event aims to transition bilateral relations from simple trade to integrated value chains in the mining, energy, and industrial sectors.

During SISTEP IMME, agreements were signed with industrial clusters to promote digitalization, predictive maintenance, and local subcontracting. The exhibition also highlights Industry 4.0 technologies and industrial safety.

Additionally, the 9th edition of SIEMA FoodExpo is scheduled for September 2026. Under the theme ‘Agro 2030,’ the event will address Moroccan food sovereignty, water resilience, and industrial competitiveness. Discussions will cover the implementation of artificial intelligence in food production, decarbonization, and the internationalization of Moroccan-made products.
