Morocco hosts Selectair annual congress in Tamuda Bay

The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) is hosting the annual congress of Selectair, Belgium’s leading travel agency network, in Tamuda Bay from September 30 to October 4, 2026. The event brings together nearly 90 independent agencies and major industry partners to strengthen the promotion of Morocco as a destination within the Belgian market.

This gathering follows significant growth in tourism from Belgium to Morocco. In 2025, Belgian arrivals exceeded one million, reaching 1.2 million visitors. As of late July 2026, over 834,000 Belgian arrivals had already been recorded, marking an 8% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Selectair, which reported a turnover of approximately 310 million euros in 2025, operates through 88 agencies and 320 employees, primarily located in Flanders. The congress, attended by Selectair President Martine Dewispelaere, aims to deepen professional knowledge of Morocco’s diverse offerings, including luxury travel, cultural experiences, and coastal tourism.
