Morocco Ministry of Education announces recruitment for 15,590 teaching positions

The Moroccan Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, Vocational Training, and Higher Education has announced the recruitment of 15,590 teachers for the 2026-2027 academic year. The positions are distributed across primary education (5,530 seats), middle school (8,360 seats), and high school (1,700 seats) levels.

Candidates must be Moroccan nationals, possess a relevant degree (such as a license in education or an equivalent university degree), and be no older than 40 years at the time of the exam. This age limit represents an increase from the previous 35-year threshold, a move intended to allow for more years of service before retirement.

Online registration is scheduled from November 5 to November 19, 2026. Written examinations will take place on November 28, 2026, followed by practical and oral assessments in December. Final results are expected to be released starting December 29, 2026, with training beginning on January 4, 2027.
