Morocco national team prepares for Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers

Morocco national team coach Mohamed Wahbi is scheduled to announce his squad on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, ahead of two crucial matches against Niger. These fixtures, part of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, represent the third and fourth rounds of Group One.

The first match will take place on November 13 at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca, followed by a second match on November 17 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. The team is set to begin its preparatory camp on November 9.

Amid these preparations, Lazio midfielder Reda Belahyane has emerged as a strong candidate for selection. His recent performances in the Italian league, characterized by defensive solidity and tactical intelligence, have drawn attention from the technical staff as the team seeks to bolster its midfield.
