Morocco reaffirms support for Palestinian resilience at OIC meeting
During the 23rd extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) foreign ministers in Jeddah, Morocco reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and strengthening their resilience.
Mustapha Mansouri, the Moroccan ambassador to Riyadh and permanent representative to the OIC, stated that this support is implemented through the tangible actions of the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency. As the executive arm of the Al-Qods Committee, the agency conducts development, social, and humanitarian projects intended to improve living conditions and preserve the social fabric of Jerusalem.
The meeting also addressed the situation in Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites. The Moroccan delegation, which included Khalid Bencheikh and Abdelilah Oudadas, highlighted the need for unified positions against Israeli policies characterized as illegal and escalatory threats to the city's identity.
