Morocco real estate prices rise 0.7% in Q2 2026
Morocco's real estate asset price index (IPAI) rose by 0.7% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, according to a joint report by Bank Al-Maghrib and the National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre and Cartography.
On an annual basis, residential property prices increased by 1%, driven by a 1.1% rise in apartment prices, while house and villa prices saw declines of 0.7% and 0.3%, respectively. Land prices grew by 0.3%, and professional use property prices rose by 0.6%.
Transaction volumes showed significant growth. The total number of transactions increased by 6.3% annually, with notable surges in professional use properties (31.9%) and land (4.1%). On a quarterly basis, the total number of transactions rose by 11%, including a 21.8% increase in land transactions and a 23.5% increase in professional use property transactions.
