Morocco and Italy showcase aerospace clusters at Farnborough Airshow 2026

The seventh edition of the Farnborough International Airshow (20‑24 July 2026) will feature a joint presence of Italy’s Lombardia Aerospace Cluster and Morocco’s national aerospace pavilion.

Italy’s cluster will host a collective stand (Hall 1, stand 1437) representing 24 companies, including Leonardo, and will display products from 13 firms with dedicated booths and another 11 firms with separate exhibition spaces. The Lombardy sector comprises over 200 enterprises, about 21,800 employees, annual turnover of €6.3 billion and exports of €2.9 billion – roughly one‑third of Italy’s total aerospace export.

Morocco’s participation is organized by the Moroccan Agency for Investment Development and Export, bringing together more than 155 companies, 25,000 workers and export revenues near US$3 billion. The pavilion highlights the kingdom’s full value‑chain capabilities – precision machining, assembly, composites, wiring, surface treatment and maintenance – and stresses a 42 % local integration rate and an average annual growth of 17 %. Delegations will hold bilateral meetings with international groups to seek investment and cooperation, reinforcing Morocco’s ambition to become a strategic hub in global aerospace, defence and space programmes.

Both national displays aim to attract foreign investment, promote export opportunities and underline the growing competitiveness of their respective aerospace ecosystems on the world stage.
