Morocco to host PFL Africa MMA semifinals in Casablanca

Morocco will host the PFL Africa Mixed Martial Arts semifinals for the first time in North Africa on October 10. The event is scheduled to take place at the Mohamed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.

The tournament features fighters representing nine African nations competing for spots in the PFL Africa finals. The main event will feature Moroccan fighter Badr Eddine Madkouri, known as Badr ‘Dastan’, facing Senegal’s Abdoulaye Kan in the heavyweight division.

Other notable matchups include Karim Hiane of Algeria-Canada against Nigeria’s Raphael Oshigbo in the bantamweight division, and several bouts across the middleweight and lightweight categories involving athletes from Angola, South Africa, Guinea-Bissau, Nigeria, Senegal, Chad, and Liberia. Elias Schollz, General Manager of PFL Africa, stated that the league aims to expand its presence across the continent through such events.
