Morocco to host second World School Golf Championship in Taghazout
Morocco will host the second edition of the World School Golf Championship (WSGC) from November 2 to 8, 2026. The event will take place at the Taghazout Golf Course near Agadir, featuring participants from 19 countries.
Organized by the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and the International School Sport Federation (ISF), the tournament follows the inaugural event held in Rabat in July 2025. The 2026 competition will utilize the 18-hole course designed by Kyle Phillips, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
The championship will follow a stroke play format over 72 holes. Individual titles will be awarded to boys and girls in the under-15 and under-18 categories. Team competitions will consist of four student-athletes per team, including one boy and one girl from each age group.
