Morocco-US trade reaches $5.3 billion in first seven months of 2026
Trade between Morocco and the United States saw significant growth during the first seven months of 2026. Bilateral exchanges reached $5.305 billion, representing a 22.5% increase compared to the $4.331 billion recorded during the same period in 2025.
This growth was primarily driven by U.S. exports to Morocco, which rose 25.2% to $4.069 billion. A notable acceleration occurred in the spring, with July marking a peak for American sales to the Kingdom at $686.3 million, a 54.3% increase over July 2025.
In contrast, U.S. imports from Morocco grew at a more moderate pace, rising 14.2% to $1.236 billion. This trend has widened the trade imbalance in favor of the United States, with the American trade surplus reaching $2.833 billion for the seven-month period, up 30.7% from the previous year.
