Ordinary revenues for the authorities reached 28.4 billion dirhams, a 3.5 % increase over June 2025, driven by an 18.9 % rise in revenues managed by the authorities themselves and a 0.6 % rise in state‑managed revenues, while transferred revenues fell 0.3 %. Ordinary expenditures rose to 14.27 billion dirhams, up 5.1 % year‑on‑year, reflecting a 6.3 % increase in goods and services costs and a 4.6 % increase in staff costs.
Cumulative surpluses across all local‑government budgets now total 71 billion dirhams, earmarked to meet committed and overdue spending for the current and past fiscal years; local authorities contribute 64.5 % of this total. Tax collections for the authorities exceeded 25.24 billion dirhams, up 8.6 % and representing 88.8 % of total local revenues, with direct taxes rising 7.6 % and indirect taxes 9.5 %. State‑managed resources for the authorities reached 6.15 billion dirhams (up 0.6 %), while locally managed resources grew to 6.20 billion dirhams (up 18.9 %).
