Morris Katz allegedly owes $14,000 in unpaid rent

Morris Katz, a 27-year-old political strategist and advisor to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, allegedly owes $14,000 in unpaid rent following a six-month lease in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

According to reports, Katz, who co-founded the consulting group The Fight Agency, missed multiple payments and issued bounced checks for a duplex on Lorimer Street. The building superintendent, Felix Barbosa, claimed that Katz left the apartment in a state of disarray filled with trash and allegedly owes money to utility providers including Con Edison and the gas company.

Katz has been credited with playing a significant role in the political rise of Mamdani and has provided advisory services to various Democratic candidates in New York.
