Morro de São Paulo, located in the Cairu archipelago in Bahia, will host an international beach tennis tournament from September 28 to October 3, 2026. The event, recognized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), features the BT100 Morro de São Paulo as its main competition, offering a US$ 10,000 prize pool and 100 ranking points.
The tournament is expected to attract athletes ranked within the global top 200, including Italian player Sofia Cimatti, a former world number one and previous champion, and Lucas Cavallieri, currently ranked 110th in the world. The schedule includes BT10 category tournaments at the start of the week, followed by the BT100 qualifying rounds on September 30 and the main finals on October 3.
