Morselir wins debut race at Nakayama Racecourse

Morselir, the 1-favorite 2-year-old colt, secured a victory in its debut race at Nakayama Racecourse on September 26. Competing in the 1800-meter dirt race, the horse overcame a slow start from the gate to move into second position during the backstretch. Morselir ultimately won by 1 1/4 lengths with a finishing time of 1:55.5.

Jockey Keita Tosaki noted that while the horse struggled with gate positioning, it demonstrated significant strength and stamina. Trainer Noboru Takagi expressed confidence in the horse's ability, noting its potential for further improvement despite its youthful behavior during the race.
