Morsko dobro opposes changes to ferry line management

The public enterprise Morsko dobro has rejected calls to change the management structure of its ferry line, arguing that the current administration should remain in place during ongoing modernization of the fleet and infrastructure.

Aleksandar Crvenko, head of the Maritime and Coastal Transport Sector, stated that the current management has successfully elevated the organization's status and service quality. He noted that Morsko dobro was the only entity willing to provide financial investment and assume risk when the ferry line was initially taken over, contrasting this with the lack of financial support from municipal structures at that time.

Crvenko emphasized that the enterprise has seen significant improvements in service quality and maintains strong cooperation with local emergency and security services, including the police and medical units in Herceg Novi and Tivat. He criticized recent attempts to reclaim control of the line, suggesting such moves aim to undermine the stability of the company.
